EllisDon Technology Strategic Partnership

EllisDon Technology Strategic Partnership: Press Release from EllisDon

EllisDon announces the addition of a new Technology Ecosystem Strategic Partner, Crewscope, adding to our growing list of preferred technology suppliers. This announcement follows recent additions of both StruxHub and Touchplan to cement EllisDon’s long-term technology strategy, led by the Data & Digital Engineering Division.

EllisDon continues to commit itself to building relationships with strategic partners, acting on an ambitious enterprise-wide technology strategy, and providing our construction teams with the best support available.

Crewscope is a construction productivity application that aims to engage workers with impact. The application’s purpose is to align hourly incentives with project outcomes to increase employee engagement and productivity among frontline workers.

“Crewscope is well-positioned to complement our tech stack and address the pressing challenges of frontline productivity and retention,” says Hammad Chaudhry, Vice President of Innovation and Construction Technology at EllisDon. “As we navigate a paradigm shift in the construction industry with a generational labor shortage, partnerships like these enable EllisDon’s Data & Digital Engineering team to build a unique tech ecosystem designed to support our project teams and clients while providing them with best-in-class tools and solutions.”

“Crewscope began its journey with EllisDon supporting its Western team, PME, in early 2022 by building high-performance teams and creating exceptional crew experiences,” says Calvin Benchimol, CEO of Crewscope. “After completing the Capital Line Pilot Project and demonstrating 8% labor productivity gains, strong forecast accuracy, and elevated employee engagement, we were honored to form a strategic partnership to scale best practices with frontline workers across EllisDon projects.”

EllisDon Technology Strategic Partnership

EllisDon will continue to grow its Technology Ecosystem Strategic Partnerships by building on new relationships with this year’s second ConTech Accelerator, which will be coming up in September. The EllisDon ConTech Accelerator is focused on accelerating promising startups and their technology deployment on construction job sites in Canada with support and guidance.

About Crewscope

Crewscope is worker productivity software built for mobile industrial workers. Declining labor productivity and misaligned incentives are due to inexperienced site leadership, verbal communication, and manual planning. The labor crisis broke the balance, and we need new ways to develop talent and motivate crews. The best site leaders connect work with purpose, enable workers to take the initiative, and tie rewards to performance. We built Crewscope to scale these best practices across site teams.
